Wedding preparations in Sassa al Sole
The wedding’s morning was devoted entirely to preparations. Maddie, host in our Mimì suite, received make-up artist and hair stylist who helped make her even more beautiful! The bridesmaids, meanwhile, took care of all the wedding details: arranging welcome bags for guests and setting up the guestbook station, consisting of cards and a mailbox to leave messages for the newlyweds. There was no shortage of laughter and emotional moments with the bride-to-be.
Symbolic ceremony in Sassa al Sole's garden
Cristina, our wedding coordinator, had some doubts about where to set up the symbolic ceremony due to the uncertain weather. But the English couple was unfazed by the bad weather and opted for an outdoor celebration in our beautiful Statue Garden. This bold choice rewarded the couple, because as soon as the exchange of vows began, the sun came out!
Apéritif with themed islands and buvette
After the big Yes, the newlyweds and guests enjoyed a rich aperitif with Tuscan delicacies by the pool. Roman, a lover of Italian cuisine, wished to try various dishes; therefore, the caterer proposed a buffet divided into islands: one with cheeses, cold cuts, fried foods, and bread.
Wedding dinner inside Sala dell’Opéra
Our distinctive Sala dell’Opéra was the stage for the wedding dinner. This versatile space can be arranged with round or rectangular tables for wedding or private events. The couple’s favorite palette was in shades of bright green, while, the theme of the tableau mariage, were Italian cities in tribute to our land.
Wedding cake cutting by the pool
After the delicious dinner, the bride and groom cut the wedding cake by the pool. Fairy lights and the LOVE sign set the scene for an exciting evening, accompanied by a live music group that entertained everybody late into the night!
