October wedding in the Tuscan hills
The couple, living in the United States, were captivated by the Relais nestled in the green Tuscan hills. She, an American and he, a native of the San Miniato area, chose to get married with a symbolic ceremony in the garden of Sassa al Sole on a warm October afternoon.
The ceremony followed American traditions, complete with bridesmaids in matching dresses in a beautiful shade of brown.
Candid settings for the wedding reception
To celebrate their eternal love, Sydney and Luca chose the color symbol of purity: white was the star of every decoration, from the chairs used during the ceremony, to the wedding cake!
The bride’s bouquet consisted of white calla lilies and little roses, embellished with a white ribbon, embodying the simplicity and elegance that also characterized the groom’s and his entourage’s boutonniere.
Aperitif buffet poolside
After the touching ceremony, the newlyweds and guests made their way to the panoramic pool, one of the most striking corners of Sassa al Sole. Here, a rich buffet by Guido Guidi catering awaited them with delicacies, finger food and selected drinks… even the most demanding palates were satisfied!
The tail end of summer, with its typical warmth, allowed everyone to fully enjoy this moment of joy before entering the banquet hall.
Reception in Sala Opéra
After whetting their appetites with the tasty buffet dishes, the newlyweds and their guests took their seats in the beautiful Sala Opéra set up with elegant and refined décor. The glass walls allowed all attendees to enjoy the sunset over the Tuscan hills.
The dinner included several traditional Tuscan dishes, strongly requested by Luca, who grew up in the San Miniato area and was eager to introduce Sydney to the flavors of his land.
At the end of the sumptuous wedding dinner, everyone moved back to the poolside, where the tasty wedding cake was waiting for them. The evening ended with dancing, fireworks and joy: the perfect start to a life together!
