What to do with your guests during your wedding weekend
Here are some tips about ways to entertain your friends and family during a few days in Tuscany.
Let your guests appreciate the wedding venue and its surroundings
When planning a destination wedding in Tuscany, besides the actual ceremony and reception, you’ll have to think about how to entertain your guests for a few days. Luckily, our territory offers lots and lots of opportunities. Here are some activities we usually propose to make the most of your stay at Sassa al Sole.
Relaxing welcome day at the spa
People engage in long flights to be by your side on the wedding day, they are certainly happy to do it, but get tired anyway. So, preparing for them a relaxing welcome day may be a very good idea. At Sassa al Sole there is a spa area with a sauna and steam room that lets your guests power up for the big day.
Yoga sessions are also available. We usually organize lessons in our garden or in the relax room. Pilates classes are a good alternative too.
Pool party for kids and adults
In the summertime, our pool is the best place to be if you want to enjoy the sun, relax, and have fun. Pool parties are something everyone can appreciate: kids and adults. The first one will surely have fun swimming and playing with inflatable toys, there is a bunch you can dispose of. Adults, on the other hand, can enjoy music, snacks, and cocktails by the poolside.
All around the pool is our garden, there is plenty of space to organize a light lunch and privacy for everyone.
Horse-riding, biking, and hiking in the countryside
On our grounds there is also a riding school. You and your guests are able to experience how to take care of the horses and ride them along the countryside trails. Visit hills, vineyards, olive groves, and rivers on horseback: we assure you they look way different from this perspective.
Country trails can be explored on foot or by bike too. If you like hikings, you are in the right place. We can help you plan guided tours with e-bikes and local experts.
Wine, oil, and truffle tasting experiences
The surrounding area of Sassa al Sole is known for its abundance of truffles. All year round there are also some great events in the town center where you can buy and taste the best truffles found nearby. Truffle hunting is something else you can experience while staying at Sassa al Sole.
Of course wine and olive oil tastings are possible in every season. Small groups can even add to the tasting experience a real cooking class using local Tuscan products.
Vintage vespa tour in the surrounding towns
Is there something more Italian than Vespa? This little motorcycle is an icon of our territory and in the countryside there are the best streets to ride it. To realize the tours, we count on the support of local tourist guides and rental shops.
